Condition

There is some light surface dirt to the crevices and some tiny white specks of paint to the surface but otherwise in good overall condition.

Conceived in 1957 and cast in an edition of 6, this piece is the maquette for the large bronze in the Berlin Opera House which was exhibited at the Venice Biennale of 1958.
