Condition

The work is on wove paper which has not been laid down. The edges of the sheet are taped to the reverse of the mount. The sheet undulates very slightly and is dirty on the verso but this does not show through to the recto. There is an old glue stain in the upper right corner. The surface of the sheet is in good overall condition. Held behind glass in a simple painted frame within a canvas slip.
