Condition
The sheet is sound and is tabbed to a canvas backboard in the corners. The upper edge of the sheet is characteristically uneven and the paper is slightly undulating. There are some minor handling marks to the edges, some minor creases below the upper edge and a small crease above the centre of the boat otherwise in good overall condition.
Under UV light, there appear to be no signs of retouching.
Held in a simple metal frame under glass; unexamined out of frame.
The colour of the paper is greener than the illustration suggests and the tones of the paint are stronger.
