Description

  • Sir Eduardo Paolozzi CBE, RA
  • Dumont Head
  • signed and numbered 5/8
  • bronze with black patina
  • height: 23cm.; 9in.

Condition

There are some signs of wear to the patina at the extremities of the piece (e.g the tip of the chin, ears, eyebrows etc.) Several tiny spots of verdigris are visible above the left eye and at the brow, and there is a slight build-up of chalky residue in the crevices of the base. As such, the work would benefit from a professional clean and wax but is otherwise in good sound condition.
