Eduardo Munoz Bachs

To be sold together with four similar film posters by various hands.

Bachs designed over 2000 movie posters in his lifetime and his name has become synonymous with Cuban film. Born in Valencia, Spain, Bachs moved to Cuba with his family in 1941 and although he had no formal graphic design training, he made his first poster in 1960 for the ICAIC (Instituto Cubano de Arte e Industria Cinemato-graphica) founded after the Cuban revolution to produce and promote Cuban film.
