Condition

The canvas is unlined and the work appears to be in excellent original condition, the paint surface sound and stable and retaining lovely impasto throughout. Inspection under UV light does not reveal any later retouchings. Smartly presented behind perspex in a black wooden box frame in excellent condition. There are several white paint marks on the perspex lower left which need removing, otherwise ready to hang.
