Condition
Original canvas. There are no retouchings evident under ultraviolet light and apart from a very small spot of paint loss in the upper left corner the paint surface is in good overall condition. The work is brighter than it appears in the catalogue illustration. Held in a simple plaster moulded gilt frame.
