Condition
Original canvas. There are some retouchings in the sky to the upper left of the work and a few further small scattered spots, notably in the water by the moored boat and by the bank to the centre left, otherwise the paint surface is overall in good condition. The work is brighter than it appears in the catalogue illustration. Held in a fluted plaster moulded gilt wood frame.
