Condition

The panel is sound. There are no retouchings evident under ultraviolet light, though a proper reading of this is hindered by a fluorescing varnish layer. There are a few frame abrasions, notably along the bottom edge of the work. Apart from some surface dirt and a slightly discoloured varnish layer this work is overall in good condition. Held in a simple carved wooden frame.
