Condition
The canvas has been relined. There are a few small specks of retouching in the sky (notably by the tree in the centre). There may be a few further retouches though a fluorescing varnish hinders a proper reading of this. The varnish has discoloured in areas otherwise the work is overall in good condition. Held in a fluted plaster moulded gilt wood frame.
