Condition
Original canvas. There is a small spot of retouching to the centre of the left edge (corresponding to a spot of paint loss), a few specks to the figures and a few further scattered specks elsewhere. There are a few small spots of surface dirt, some tiny spots of paint loss (notably in the upper right corner) and the varnish has discoloured slightly, otherwise the paint surface is overall in good condition. Held in a plaster moulded gilt frame with a red linen slip.
