Condition

The panels are sound. There are no retouchings evident under ultraviolet light. There is a small hole towards the centre of the bottom edge in the study of 'A Dove' (visible in the catalogue illustration), otherwise both works are in good overall condition. Both held under glass in simple wooden slip frames.
