Condition
The panel is sound. There are no retouchings evident under ultraviolet light. There are two small indentations in the panel, one to the centre of the left edge and one to the centre of the right edge of the work, which are part of the original make-up of the panel. There is also a small horizontal hairline crack (2 cm. across) to the centre of the right edge, otherwise the paint surface is overall in good condition. Held under glass in a gilt frame with a linen slip.
