- 17 by 21.5cm., 6¾ by 8½in.
Condition
The canvas is laid down onto a board. Some of the pigments fluoresce under ultraviolet light though these do not appear to be retouchings. The artist's pinholes are evident along the edges of the work, there are some spots of paint loss to the centre of the upper edge and in the corners and there are a few spots of surface dirt, otherwise the work is overall in good condition. The colours are brighter than they appear in the catalogue illustration. Held in a plaster moulded gilt frame.
