Condition
Work on first canvas.
From a first hand inspection there is s strong dust deposit over the surface and spots of losses of pigment along the frame's edge; a loss of colour in the background behind the goat, one between the woman and the animal, one in the lower green area. There is a vertical line (cm 7 circa) parallel to the edge retouched.
The ultra violet light reveals retouches: the largest among the clouds on the right-hand side, other in the background on the left, over the woman and the goat.
It is suggested a careful cleansing and consolidation of the surface.
