From a first hand inspection there are small losses along the edges wherethe old frame was. There are two small scratches one over the dark area of the house on the left-hand side end one in the shadow of the roof in the middle of the painting (both are visible from the picture in the catalogue). Other two small spots are visible in the center along the top edge. The ultra violet light reveals fluorescent varnish spread dishomogeneously over the surface: There are some retouches due to old losses of pigments: in the dark area top right-hand and over the shadow in the center. It is suggested a careful cleansing. The overall condition as to the state of preservation is good.
