Condition
Work on first canvas.
From a first inspection some losses of pigment are visible in all the corners and part of the edges, probably due to the old frame. There are two small loses among the tree on the left and some on the water in right-hand side of the painting.
The ultra violet light reveals traces of fluorescent varnish. There is a restoration (cm 7 circa) in the sky, in the top right-hand corner (visible in the catalogue reproduction) and a retouch in the lower left-hand corner.
It is suggested a careful cleansing.
The overall condition as to the state of preservation is good.
