Original canvas. There are areas of paint thinning and apparent paint loss, however these appear to be part of the artist's technique and intention. There is a horizontal stretcher mark visible at the lower right edge. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals no signs of retouching. Overall this work appears to be in its original intended condition.
