of serpentine outline with gilt and red-tooled black leather writing surface within boulle marquetry banding, the frieze fitted with three drawers, the back with conforming decoration, both sides with bacchic masks.

Condition

Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks consistent with age and use. Slight tarnishing to gilt-bronze, dirt and oxidation in some places.
