decorated with 'Roc Centre' within a wide orange and gilt patterned 'Twyford' border on the rim, the underside sponged in blue, pink and black, Portland Vase MADE IN ENGLAND MARKS and pattern number W558 in gilding.



 

Catalogue Note

'Roc Centre' is a variation of the 'Imps on a Bridge' pattern introduced in 1923. An identical plate was sold in these rooms on October 8, 2004, lot 17.
