kingwood and quarter-veneer satiné with fruitwood stringings, the cartonnier fitted with a foliate cast three-quarter gallery above a shaped pigeon hole flanked by three small drawers on each side in solid mahogany, the desk fitted with three frieze drawers, the lock plate has been removed to reveal the A.CHAILLOT/PARIS stamp within an oval.
