French, circa 1890, after the model by Jean-Henri Reisner 
rosewood, flowerhead trellis marquetry on burrwood veneer, the central marquetry panel depicture a nature morte in polychrome stained fruitwood marquetry, veined white carrara marble top, three frieze drawer above two large drawers sans traverse.

Catalogue Note

On the present model, it is interesting to note a technique of marquetry which is rarely seen on such models which includes the red, blue and green staining and moreover the straw micromarquetry to the nature morte panel.
