Catalogue Note

The tapestry panels were woven under the direction of Jacques Neilson, who headed the Manufacture Royale des Gobelins from 1750-1788. The design of the upper panel depits a Enfant Boucher after most probably cartoons by Francois Boucher (1703-1770).
