  • the plaque height 21 1/4 in.; width 17 3/8 in.
  • 51.4 cm; 44.2 cm
finely painted, the reverse with impressed KPM beneath a spectre and letter F, inscribed in black ink 464/(?)/Uzzz, and set within a carved giltwood and blue painted Italian Neoclassical style frame. 

Catalogue Note

The original, painted by Raphael Sanzio in 1513-14, is now in the permanent collection of the Gemäldegalerie, Dresden.
