Condition
Original canvas. There are a few tiny scattered specks of retouching visible under ultraviolet. Apart from some frame abrasions to the top edge of the work, some signs of faint craquelure and a slightly discoloured varnish layer, the paint surface is overall in good condition. Held in a fluted plaster moulded gilt frame with laureate edges.
