Condition

The panel is sound. No retouchings are evident under ultraviolet light. There is a tiny spot of paint loss to the extreme lower right corner and two tiny scratches towards the upper right edge (visible in the catalogue illustration). The varnish layer has discoloured over time and there are visible signs of surface dirt. Held in a plaster moulded gilt frame.
