Un Soldat avec son équipement: The canvas has been relined. There appear to be some retouchings to the background around the soldiers head, around his feet and in the lower right corner. There may be some further small cosmetic retouchings though a proper reading of this is hindered by the varnish layer. The paint surface is overall in good condition. This work is sold unframed. Un Soldat de l'infanterie. The canvas has been relined. There are some retouchings to the bottom left and right edges, some small spots of retouching on the soldier's body, some scattered flecks in the background and in the sky, notably a thin 5cm horizontal line directly above the soldiers head. Apart from a dent to the canvas above the soldiers head visable only on close inspection the paint surface is in good overall condition. This work is sold unframed.
