Condition
The canvas is laid onto a board which remains flat and even. There is an area of retouching on the riverbank in the foreground visible under ultraviolet light. There are a few spots of surface dirt, otherwise, the paint surface is in good overall condition with areas of strong impasto. This work would benefit from a light surface clean. Held in a simple gilt wood frame.
