Condition

The panel is in good condition, flat and even. There is a spot of retouching just above the head of the figure carrying the water jug and a few spots towards the right edge, notably in the sky, visible under ultraviolet light. The paint surface is in good overall condition. Held in a plaster moulded gilt frame.
