Condition

The canvas is laid down onto a board which remains flat and even. There are a few retouchings visible under ultraviolet light, notably in the lady'shair, under her chin and an area in the dark curtain hanging in the background to her left. The paint surface is overall in good condition. Held in a decorative gilt frame.
