The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.This painting is in very good condition. The canvas has been is lined. The paint layer is well textured and has been cleaned and varnished. There is a small retouch in the cheek of the woman at the piano, in the music on the piano and in the face of the standing man For the most part however, the remainder of the picture seems to be in very healthy condition with no restorations of any note and it should be hung as is.
