Catalogue Note

From the gastronomic library of Hroar Dege.  Ingelheim in Franconia is still a major wine-growing district.  The documents describe the location and size of lands in considerable detail.  The dean of Saint Mary’s in Mainz, who issued the second charter here, was Hermann Rose von Kirswerden (d.1439), dean 1428-34.
