The Ref. 5041 was produced between 1995 and 2003 only in white gold and was similar to, but more limited than, the Ref. 5040.

The differences between the two are found in the dials and bezels. The dial of the Ref. 5041 has white gold Breguet numerals and an outer minutes ring calibrated with dots. Meanwhile the Ref. 5040 has more standard Arabic numerals and an outer railroad-style minute track. The bezel of the Ref. 5041is flat and beveled, while the Ref. 5040 has a bombé bezel.

Our research has shown that to date this is only the thrid example to be offered at auction.  The first in 2002 and the second recently sold Sotheby's Hong Kong, Important Watches, lot 924, April 8th, 2006.
