14k, gilt lever movement, highly jeweled, bimetallic compensation balance, wolf's-tooth wind, factory inscription to the gold cuvette, white enamel dial, Breguet numerals, outer Arabic track in red calibrated for 300 units, two subsidiary dials indicating 30 minutes register and constant seconds, pink gilt spade hands, plain case with hinged front and back lids, case stamped P.D., dial and cuvette signed, movement stamped 'Grand Prix Paris 1900'.

Catalogue Note

Paul Ditisheim was a very well regarded watch maker based in the town of La Chaux-de-Fonds, one of the great watch making centers of Switzerland. He would found the eponymous company in 1892, and make a name for himself in precision watches. He would later start the Vulcain and Solvil watch companies.
