Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe leather box.

First introduced in 1958, Ref. 2570/1 was one of the first amagnetic watches put into production by Patek Philippe.

The specific design of the movement and case make the model more resistant to high magnetic fields that one might encounter in engineering or scientific work.

Examples of this reference in gold are especially rare.

Most examples were made in stainless steel.

For a similar example, see Huber & Banbery, Patek Philippe Wristwatches, Vol. 2, Second Edition, p.194, pl. 312.
