18k, Cal. 23-300, nickel lever movement, 18 jewels, Gyromax balance, free-sprung regulator, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva, silvered matte dial, recessed pink gold baton indexes, circular case with enlarged engine-turned bezel with raised ring next to the dial, downturned lugs, snap on back, case, dial and movement signed, with an 18k pink gold Patek Philippe buckle.

Patek Philippe launched several similar models in 1959, Ref. 2594 was similar to the present model, but it had simply an enlarged and smooth bezel; Ref. 2594/1 is the present model with engine-turned bezel;  For an example of Ref. 2594 in platinum, see lot 85 in this sale.
