A rare silver and enamel singing bird box with watch, Patek Philippe & Co., Genève, Movement No. 28391, circa 1860

rectangular gilt lever movement, bimetallic compensation, balance, gold rectangular cuvette signed and numbered, silver rectangular box  decorated with geometric design heightened by torquoise and black opaque enamel, front hinged panel fitted with the movement, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, the top with singing bird,no longer feathered, rising from a bird-form recess, the reserves pierced and engraved with scrolls, concealed beneath an oval cover, the cover polychrome enamel with a Swiss lake scene, with restorations, left side fitted with hinged key compartment, case signed and numbered.
