Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of this movement in 1899, its casing in 1936 and its subsequent sale on November 23rd, 1940.

Patek Philippe made very few watches in stainless steel and pink gold, and even fewer with winding crown at 12 o'clock. The exceptional three-tone dial of this watch makes it even more unusual.

According to our research, there have been only four examples of this reference, including the present lot, to appear in the market in recent years.
