Description

mbangu, of hollowed oval form and pierced around the rim for attachment, the pointed chin beneath the mouth turned askew, the small nose bisecting the pierced, heavy-lidded downcast eyes; decorated with black pigment on one side and white kaolin on the other; '849' in white pigment at the reverse; aged surface overall.
