Description

fragmentary beneath the rounded hips leading to the elongated torso with the right arm extant with bent arms held low and framing the torso, the rounded shoulders and pendant breasts beneath the thick neck and helmet-like head with abbreviated linear features and a sagittate nose with a fragmentary knot at the crown; decorated with subtle raised areas of zigzag motif; '159-7' on the base; exceptionally fine layered, encrusted and slightly resinous deep brown patina.
