Description
the female figure with splayed legs leading to full, rounded buttocks and the slender torso with pointed breasts framed by the muscular arms and small, incised fingers at the hips, the finely ridged neck supporting the large disc-like head with abbreviated features, a notched mouth and straight nose leading to slit eyes with one linear scar on the left cheek, all above six carved tines; old label with some loss 'Ratton Paris'; exceptionally fine blackened patina.
