Description

the architectural lower portion supporting the torso with protruding navel and one breast framed by long arms to the sides, the right hand articulated beneath the enormous spherical head with a rectilinear face inset with cowrie shell eyes surrounded by three horns (a wasp nest on the right side), with a lid at the crown; '104' on the base; varied beige surface of low-fired clay with evidence of grass matrix.
