with a galleried superstructure, above two flaps in a form of a drawer, the inside fitted with a further drawer, the central tambour section enclosing a leather-lined writing surface, the kneehole flanked by two cupboard doors mounted with a geometric motif within a rectangle, one side enclosing three pull-out open shelves, the other side enclosing four drawers, on a platform base with diaper motif, the whole with brass fluting and ribbed panels, bearing paper labels Gustav Kuaner Hof-Spediten, Wohnannstrasse, 5 Berlin and Max von Wogau, Lutzow-Ufer 31
