Description

  • 28.5 by 37.5cm., 11¼ by 14¾in
centred with a boldly cast and chased scene of a central Asian city, probably Bukhara, framed with a oval surround set with star and scroll enamel ornament in bead border, surmounted with a crowned enamel coat-of-arms for a Russian nobleman in leaf and berry wreath, applied below with stylised initials A.Ya and dates 1885-1891, further decorated with raised scrolling foliage, foliate friezes and set at each corner with rosettes, silver strut in the form of an A, 84 standard
