cast as a cluster of leafy scrolls around a stylised flower inset with a large cabochon amethyst, converted from a clasp section marked Fabergé beneath Imperial warrant, 84 standard, and a Fabergé box

Catalogue Note

This was reputedly given to Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna Romanov (1882-1957), by her father and incorporates her initial E in the design. On August 29th 1902 the Grand Duchess married Prince Nicholas of Greece at a lavish ceremony at Tsarkoe-Selo. Her daughter Marina married HRH Prince George, Duke of Kent and their are survived by The Duke of Kent, Prince Michael of Kent and Princess Alexandra.
