circular, the aperture set above centre, the deep blue translucent enamel decorated with gold foil ribbon-tied laurel and berry garlands, entrelac border, the white enamel dial, with Arabic numerals and openwork gold hands, within a seed-pearl border, the ivory back inscribed Puisse-t-elle ne jamais marquer pour toi que des heurs heureuses, silver strut, marked Fabergé with workmaster's initials and scratched inventory number 22512, 88 standard
