A similar plate is illustrated in Nina Lobanov-Rostovsky's book: Revolutionary Ceramics, Soviet Porcelain 1917-1927, p80. She explains that the prototype for this plate was created in 1918 but the design was repeated frequently for exhibitions in the Soviet Union and abroad.
