Dark tortoiseshell, the eyes inlaid
- 3.8cm., 1 1/2 in.
The small amphibian is simply rendered, its head just slightly emerging from its carapace which is divided into sections by finely engraved lines.

Described in The Meinertzhagen Card Index. p.342, where the author surmises that the artist may be of the Kigyoku group who were followers of Ryukosai Jugyoku.
