Catalogue Note

In the Journal of the International Netsuke Society, vol.20, no.2, Nori Watanabe wrote at some length about Kano Tomokazu and his association with Kyoto. It is recorded that Tomokazu visited Kyoto where he became a student of Tomotada (Giyoh Gajin Den Biographical records of refined persons from Gifu, by Noda Kanemon, 1935).
