  • Signed in an irregular reserve Garaku
  • Ivory, the eye pupils inlaid
  • 3.5cm., 1 3/8 in.
The small shishi is vigorously rendered in a contorted pose, with its head turned skyward, a loose ball in its mouth and its weight supported on its fore leg whilst one hind leg scratches its body and another its chin.
